Relationships and Sex Education Policy

Relationships and Sex Education is learning about the emotional, social and physical aspects of growing up and changes in the body, relationships, sex, human sexuality and sexual health.
Ashmount, like all other state-funded primary schools in England, has a statutory duty to teach relationships education. In line with government guidance, we also teach age-appropriate sex education. Please read our policy for more information about this learning.
