Welcome to Ashmount Together PTA

Ashmount Together is our Parent and Teacher Association (PTA) and Registered Charity. A group of parents, carers and teachers who work together to enhance the sense of community at our wonderfully diverse school.

We do this through community events and fundraisers to raise money to enrich our children’s primary school experience.

All parents, carers and teachers are automatically members of Ashmount Together and the committee are responsible for event planning and managing of funds raised.

The PTA are always looking for new members to join the friendly committee team or join the many volunteering roles available. Participation can be as much as you are able to offer with many ways to get involved.

How to get involved

• Attend Events and Engage with the community
• Volunteer by helping at events, becoming a class rep, joining the Ashmount Band, preparing food, collecting raffle prizes,…
• Donations of resources such as stationery, arts and crafts, pre-loved uniform, snacks for the monthly tuck shop.

• Sign up to EasyFundraising on behalf of “Ashmount School PTA” easyfundraising.org.uk and raise money from any online shopping you’re already doing at no extra cost to you
• Payroll giving – Ask your employer if they can support you to donate directly from your wages before your tax is taken
• Social Corporate Responsibility – tap into your employer’s policy regarding match funding, charity volunteer days and/or donations, like raffle prize

Fundraising events

We organise a varied and wonderful range of events each year that support our fundraising effort and build on the school’s community spirit. These include: Winter & Summer Fayres, Eid Celebrations, Black History Month, Halloween, Bond Fire nights, Fun Runs, Band and Quiz nights for parents, etc…

We will also use this page as a payment option for events (together with cash and card payments!).

EasyFundraising

An easy way for parents to help fundraise is to sign up and shop with your favourite retailers through EasyFundraising.org.uk or use their app to raise funds for Ashmount Primary School.

It’s free to use and the retailers will donate a small percentage of the proceeds to the school. There are thousands of retailers that will donate for free!  Additionally, if you’re thinking about changing your insurance provider, mobile phone network, TV package, utility supplier, you will help raise money for the school.

We partner with a range of business in our community that support our events and fundraising initiatives. We really appreciate the support!

Ashmount Together PTA
